it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our team, 2 Train Robotics (Team 24096), is excitedly entering our 3rd year in the challenging FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) for the 2025-2026 season. Our students in the Bronx will use these items to create a competitive robot, enabling us to thrive in the 4-5 FTC competitions we participate in each season. Our students are exceptional, hailing from over 19 countries and speaking more than 5 different languages. Every single one of our team members is new to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and is an English Language Learner, making this hands-on experience incredibly impactful for their development.
To build a competitive robot for the upcoming season, we are undertaking a crucial "rebuild" focused on acquiring essential REV Robotics parts.
These components are the backbone of a successful FTC robot and include critical elements such as the Control Hub and Driver Hub for programming and control, various mechanical parts for the robot's structure, durable servos for precise movements, slide kits for intricate mechanisms, and reliable batteries to power us through the rigorous demands of competition. Your support directly provides these fundamental resources, enabling our diverse students to transform their innovative designs into a functional, competition-ready machine.
