Students have already benefitted immensely from the books you have provided. Many are requesting to take books home to read -- especially Manga and books in home languages. I'd also like to take a moment to talk to you specifically about sending copies of our class text, Macbeth. \r\n\r\nAs a teacher to English Language Learners, many of whom are newcomers, I was trepidatious when I set out to teach Shakespeare. I was unsure whether or not they would be able to understand the story. When I received many copies of Gareth Hinds' graphic novel adaptation, however, I was relieved. No longer forced to make black and white copies, students finally had copies of the book to hold and refer to as we completed whole class performances of the play and independent work on close-reading passages. They have been referring to the images and text as we've gone along. \r\n\r\nIt helps me and students immensely to have physical copies of books -- the several different editions that you sent mean that I can effectively teach still wider swaths of students at different levels.
