My Students

My students are 21st-century learners who are constantly seeking knowledge. They are growing up in a fast paced informational world. Most of their day is spent inside a classroom in a sedentary way. When they are given opportunities to move around and stimulate their brains, they get energized and excited about the things they still have to learn. My students need STEM based learning resources. These tools will be used to challenge their creative thinking in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.

My Project

My students are creative 21st century learners who seek knowledge in new and exciting ways. We need a Lego Mindstorm EV3 robot kit to compete in our district robotics challenge. The kits we have are outdated and no longer supported for updates and replacement supplies. This robot kit will allow our teams to design and program a robot to complete the designated tasks on competition day. Students will be able to design and build their robot using the different pieces and motors. They will then program the robot to complete the given task. The task will challenge their creative thinking and help foster collaborative team work.
