Help me give my students an opportunity to build their STEM intelligences with robotics. Your contributions allow a student to mature these intelligences by designing, programming, and engineering robots.

My Students
Our school district with a variety of cultures, has over 53%, students enrolled or are eligible for the free and reduced-priced lunch program. As you see there is a strong need for your support.
Your contributions to this project will:
Enrich young minds with cutting edge engineering technology.
Expose students to a professional-level of engineering design and learning to foster critical skills.
Establish a STEM foundation that is powering today's world now and into the future.
I am taking small steps to prepare young people of today for the constantly changing challenges before them. Your support will make this vision a reality.
My Project
I would like to expand access to robotics beyond the competitive 6th grade FIRST Lego League (FLL) team. The mission is to provide opportunities for other 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to gain FLL like robotics experiences by engaging in next generation science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) project-based learning. This initiative is to create a self sustaining robotics club that has enough resources to satisfactorily accommodate all who are interested in learning more about robotics. We plan on establishing a vertical pipeline with the local high school robotics team to make a two way communication line of support, knowledge sharing, and continuity.
