My Students

My students love STEM! Dash & Dot will help to bring my students' coding experience to life. This technology encourages creative thinking and fosters collaboration all while building perseverance in problem solving.

After exploring the Mass CUE seminar, and experiencing first-hand the amazing activities and technologies to boost coding, I know my students would be engaged in this type of inquiry and learning.

My students are curious learners who love to explore and question what they are learning. Currently, my school offers enrichment classes in coding, but it is only offered as an after-school activity and the seats are limited in order to keep the course small. I would like to provide time for this needed skill during the school day as a center during our STEM block. All students would be active participants.

My Project

With a Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot Wonder Robot Pack, the students in my class will have the opportunity to collaborate in small groups, and apply what they have learned in computer class through code.org. I am excited to help my students transfer their learning by creating their own programs all while watching their coding come to life.

Please help to fund this project, so my students will get to experience firsthand the excitement of coding robots.

My students love hands-on learning. The first part of Studio's 20 project was a mini iPad. This is part 2 of that project. Thank you.
