Robotics and Literacy

My Project

I teach at a Title I school. Next year I will be starting a coding robot club for our pre-k to 2nd grade students. This project will help me purchase a complete set of coding games for our BeeBot robots. Each set has fun literacy and math learning to help grow the students in both reading and math. Students will use the sets to code their BeeBots to locate words, patterns, rhymes, letters, numbers and so on.

Students learn to problem solve, build fortitude, increase confidence, and improve creativity.

Coding is essentially a problem-solving process that helps to analyze a situation or goal and then use problem-solving skills to determine and implement a solution. These coding sets can be purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). With gift cards to TPT, I can purchase the complete set of literacy and math activities to code for BeeBot robots.
