Robotics and Coding in Our Stem Classroom

Help me give my students Sphero-Indi learning robots and a TPT gift card for monthly/ holiday themed challenges.

My Project

I am requesting 2 Sphero Indi robots for my science and STEM classes. These robots are a fantastic way to introduce my younger students to coding. I had an opportunity to work with these bots and can see how it would be a great way to introduce coding to my classes. Having this foundational understanding of code will allow them to work up to more complex coding projects.

Our students' future involves coding and robotics.

I want to help foster an early love for technology through strategic coding instruction. These robots allow our youngest students to manipulate different colored squares to tell the robot where to move. As they get more comfortable with this form of coding, they can move up to ozobots and more challenging codes. Older students can create codes for their younger classmates to solve.

The teachers pay teachers gift card is for additional seasonal and holiday related coding tasks. I would like to have specific monthly or holiday related challenges for my Kindergarten through sixth graders to explore.
