Robotics & 3D Design

Help me give my students a CNC machine to help them learn about 3D design and engineering. In addition, this cart includes expansion packs for Lego robots to support a new robotics club at our school.

My Students

My Engineering, Computer Science, & Coding students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and are learning the skills they need to think critically, solve problems, and become valuable employees. In this class they complete projects related to a wide range of engineering disciplines. This includes mechanical, electrical, civil, software, and aerospace engineering.

My Project

Our school is only a year old, and we are trying to acquire equipment to provide a variety of opportunities for our students. This project will support the engineering and technology program at our school. Students will learn to solve problems by engineering solutions using a variety of techniques, including 3D modeling and robotics. The materials requested will allow them to design parts, mill them onsite, and learn robotics principles.

Our school is starting a Lego robotics club with plans for students to compete in First Lego League challenges to teach them engineering, coding, teamwork, and problem solving skills.

The expansion packs requested will augment existing kits to meet these challenges.
