My Students

Through hands-on exploration students will design and create a robotic bug that will be theirs to keep. Using simple circuits and a small motor, students will design, create, and learn!

My fourth grade students are a diverse, eclectic, and amazing group of boys and girls.

They love learning, especially hands on projects. Our school is located in Livermore California, which is a small town on the outskirts of the Bay Area and home to the world famous Lawrence Livermore laboratory. Please help my future scientists explore the world of simple circuits.

My Project

My amazing fourth grade students love hands on science! Through hands on experimentation, my students can expand their knowledge base in a way that textbooks could never accomplish alone. Students will take these simple materials and build a project that will be theirs to keep and amaze their friends and families.

Classrooms have become inundated with paper learning, lecture, and non kinesthetic teaching techniques.

Hands on learning allows students to break out of the pen and paper routine and develop real life skills that translate to the work force and the world around us where problem solving often takes more than pen and paper.
