This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are seniors in Government and Economics. My students vary between those going to University, Community College, and the military. They are nervous about life after high school and all of the decisions they have to make as adults after high school.

I want to continue transforming my classroom into a coffee shop type space to create a warm and inclusive environment for my students as they transition to life after high school.

The students are nervous about life after high school and giving them a safe and inviting space to grow as a senior is important.
