My Students

My students are prepared for higher education by being given a safe, caring and collaborative atmosphere that allows them to shine and grow academically. Our curriculum features a quality, student-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

We are a new school, so my students are special because they'll be able to help grow, learn, and experience the first year of our school together.

My students are creative and inquisitive, but potentially do not have access to a wide variety of books at home due to the area and region we are in.

My Project

This reading nook will help build the book filled classroom that I strive to create. My school is brand new, and I hope to make my amazing and diverse students feel comfortable in this new environment by creating an incredibly comfortable reading nook where they can read in an environment that will allow them to continuously interact with physical print media. During independent reading time, students will be able to choose a selection of books to read that will hopefully instill a love of reading in them for months and years to come. By donating to this project, you will potentially create a love of reading for many students that will last a life time!
