This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are working diligently in preparing for our upcoming concerts! I am excited to see the accomplishments of our music students. "Music is the social act of communication among people, a gesture of friendship, the strongest there is." - Malcolm Arnold

I see a total of 12 classes every three days, in which every student brings new creativity into the classroom.

Our school serves students in grades 6 to 8. We also are an IB world school. Our community is unique, which is wonderful because we all learn from one another.

My Project

New chorus risers will help promote learning in the music room. The current risers are extremely old, stained, and squeaky. In addition, they are very difficult to move to various performance venues. New risers will enable our chorus to secure more gigs in our community and practice their musicianship on stronger risers in class.

The AMS chorus truly thanks all supporters of this project.

Raising this amount of funds can be difficult. However, getting new chorus risers would be a huge accomplishment for the chorus and I know we can do it! The chorus students are excited for the possibility of performing on brand new risers!
