My Students

"The more you read, the more things you will know; the more you know, the more places you will go!" Dr. Seuss said and my students rely on this quote for a successful future. My students are very eager to grow and become fluent readers. They are motivated to become lifelong learners.

My students are from low-income families who are in need of resources, to not only help promote reading, but to pique their interests to read more!

They attend a Title-1 inner city school where times are tough! They don't have many materials available for them to use to better their reading and writing skills.

My Project

The resources we are requesting will help students become more independent readers and collaborative readers with peers. We will be able to work more in small groups with the materials requested. Some of the resources requested will help keep the students organized and track their reading progress.

Our project is essential to our classroom because it will not only help students become better readers but give them different options in choosing reading activities to do.

Each one of my students will just simply smile knowing that someone cares to help them be successful in their education.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
