I love that my students have plenty of energy; they demand the best from me as I seek to address their various and specific needs.
My students are special because they struggle daily to learn to read, yet have not given up.
The mobile whiteboard on wheels helps me to address students' needs immediately and wherever they are in the room. I used this kind of board daily when I was in a very small room with limited materials. I used it to illustrate vocabulary words or concepts; to make lists of words that had something in common (such as rhyming words, words in the same phonetic group, same ending, etc).
There is a large Smartboard in the room which we do use; however, the size and portability make it perfect for small groups.
