This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-kindergarten students are having their first school experience this year in my class. They are eager and excited to learn and make new discoveries that will spark their curiosity for new learning through numerous discoveries and explorations. My students are experiencing new discoveries every day. The pre-kindergarten students are learning how to share and work with classmates. I know my students will grow this year with numerous opportunities to interact with peers. I intend to provide my students with opportunities for many discoveries which promote creative, and extraordinary learning while developing social-emotional, language and literacy skills, incorporating the arts, including music ,fine motor skills and large motor development.

My Project

New tricycles will motivate my students to ride for pleasure. My students can develop large leg muscles strength and increase the joy of riding. Our current tricycle are very old, many missing foot pedals. My preschools students have a hard time riding the tricycles. There is no excitement when I encourage students to ride a tricycle. My students would love the opportunity to share 3 tricycles in the preschool yard. The students will love to ride on the bike path and let the wind blow their hair. I can’t wait to see the excitement in my students eyes to see new tricycles.
