My Project

Students who struggle in math are often given limited and uninspiring experiences—mundane worksheets, rigid instruction, and meaningless procedures. These approaches not only fail to spark a love for math but also make learning harder by reducing math to a set of disconnected rules rather than an opportunity for exploration.

To cultivate a true love of mathematics, we must provide rich, engaging experiences that nurture curiosity.

This project will fund Mathematical Mindset Books for K–5 students. Centered on big mathematical ideas, these books feature open-ended, low-floor, high-ceiling tasks that are accessible to all learners while encouraging deep exploration. By engaging in these meaningful tasks, students can develop their mathematical thinking, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build confidence in math.
