My Project

My kindergarten students are curious, energetic learners who are just beginning their journey as readers. They love listening to stories, asking thoughtful questions, and making connections to their own lives. We are a Title I school and my students will benefit greatly from rich language experiences that help build vocabulary and comprehension.

Books by Patricia Polacco will provide powerful read-aloud opportunities filled with expressive language, meaningful themes, and memorable characters.

These stories will help students expand their vocabulary, strengthen listening comprehension, and develop empathy as they explore themes of kindness, perseverance, family, and community. Each book will support interactive discussions, vocabulary development, and a growing love of reading.With your support, my students will experience stories that expand their vocabulary, spark meaningful conversations, and help them discover the joy and power of books. Thank you for helping bring these powerful stories into our classroom.
