Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

“It is easier to build strong children, than to repair broken men.” ~ Frederick Douglass

One of the greatest gifts is taking part in building a child up.

In honor of Black History month, I chose books that open the door to black culture that many children have not been exposed to or can relate to through these children’s books.

These books will encourage children to build their self esteem, to value their self worth, to love the way they look because they are beautiful. These books will allow the children to see and hear the history of their family and friends through the very colorful pages that the author and illustrator provide for the reader.

The children in my class are many shades of beautiful colors from all types of backgrounds, please help donate to enrich their minds on the Black culture that is so inspiring.

Thank you in advance for contributing to these young minds that are in the early stages of having big dreams at a young age!
