Rhythm and Rhyming

Help me give my students Rhyming Readiness Games and to help them learn about rhyming words.

My Project

Rhyming is primarily an auditory skill. Manipulatives and picture cards along with listening will help my students make connections with the words they hear. My students all have different learning styles, therefore, pairing visuals and manipulatives with spoken words will help my students learn rhyming words.

My goals for this project are for my students to be able to identify words that rhyme, match pictures that rhyme, and name words that rhyme.

I plan to send the Family Enagagement materials home with the students. This will allow parents to see exactly what we are learing in class and provide materials so they can help their child at home.
