Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Anime Club kids love anime, manga, and Japanese culture! Our kids meet every week to share their love of Japanese culture, manga, anime, and games and, as a club sponsor, these items will go so much further to fuel their love and exploration of this beautiful and fun world culture. Additionally, I teach ESL and I will do anything to help promote our students' burgeoning curiosity of the world and other cultures. Though it starts small, this curiosity fostered in our students will, if they keep that flame lit, lead to a lifetime of learning, world knowledge, and, with luck, tolerance and understanding.

Your generous gift towards these items would go a long, long way to rewarding their curiosity, effort, and exploration in a way that they might not normally have access to in our little Title I school.
