Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting snacks to use as incentives for my students as part of a positive behavior reinforcement system. Rewarding students with small treats helps encourage engagement, motivation and participation. By using snacks as incentives, I can reinforce good behavior, academic effort and positive social interactions, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Providing a variety of snack options, hot chips, fruit snacks and candy, allows my students to feel recognized and appreciated, making the reward system more effective and enjoyable.
These incentives not only promote focus and responsibility but also help build a sense of accomplishment and confidence. When students see their efforts lead to positive outcomes, they are more likely to develop intrinsic motivation and continue making good choices.
This simple yet effective strategy helps foster a culture of encouragement making this a school where students feel motivated to succeed while enjoying a well-deserved treat.
