My Project

The students at our school are a diverse population of learners. In the library, we utilize a positive behavior system via stars that can be earned during library lessons. The stars can be redeemed at the end of the class for prizes in our treasure box to celebrate students positive behavior. The students will have the opportunity to pick their own "treasure" of mochis, fidget toys, candy, and bookmarks to reward the positive behavior they exhibit in the library.

Our diverse population of students deserve to be celebrated and recognized for their accomplishments and good behavior.

Students can earn stars by being kind, taking responsibility, acting safely, and respecting others. Having motivational prizes helps students stay focused, on task, and eager to learn. Rewarding students with small prizes for positive behavior in the library adds a little excitement to their library visit.
