I am so fortunate to be able to teach kindergarten in my small, hometown community in Florida. My school is a Title I school, with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges that my students face outside of the classroom, they are hard-working and eager to learn each and every day. From the minute they walk in my door, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I love teaching kindergarten and I want my students to love learning!
My Project
Kindergarten students LOVE earning a special trip to the prize box! Whether, it's for a random act of kindness, being a great listener, or for improving in reading or math, the prize box is ALWAYS a big hit in my classroom. Various prizes like Playdough, noise putty, mini bubble wands, glow toys, squishy toys, and candy will be used to encourage students, celebrate progress and reward positive behavior. Rewarding hard work and positive behavior also helps to build a fun and positive learning environment in the classroom. Thank you for considering my project!
