Rewards for Intensive Readers Who Are Reluctant to Read
Help me give my students rewards for reading. These candies, pens, bracelets and stickers will motivate my intensive reading students to read and get back on grade level.

My Project
This year I will be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are not on grade level. I know that it will be a challenge, but that is why I teach! These students are not currently on grade level and are at least 2 to 5 grade levels below where they are supposed to be. I am going to help them become more proficient with their reading.
Reading is important for survival.
These students who aren't on grade level for reading need the motivation in order to want to read. When I offer a reward for continuing on and getting back where they belong they thrive!
