This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help students stay calm when working on difficult assignments, talking about their feelings, or when they're just having a tough day.

My goal is to have fidgets and sensory items like party favors, spinners, blocks, and timers available for my students when they're having a hard time or to reward them when they show effort in whatever it is they're trying to accomplish.

My students are extremely special because they exude resilience on a day to day basis. We are a Title 1 school with many students who are impacted by trauma. Being Title 1, we have many families who would be so grateful for any support for their children. Even if it is a small toy!
