My Project

The goal of this project is to enhance student engagement, motivation, and academic performance in a 6th-grade language arts classroom by providing snacks and incentives. By implementing this project, we aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters a love for reading, writing, and communication skills. Students often come to class hungry from lack of breakfast and long wait times between breakfast and lunch. Additionally, creating a game-based language arts classroom encourages engagement, and prize incentives build engagement within those activities.

Through this project, we hope to increase student motivation and engagement in language arts activities, cultivate a positive, supportive classroom culture by fostering collaboration, and improve achievement by offering prize incentives and snack options when needed.
