Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As part of the way I run my DUAL class with my multilingual learners, they can earn prizes for their hard in the classroom and for positive behavior. By following through with these, students can earn to shop in my classroom store. I asked the students what some of the prizes are that they would like to see in the classroom store so we decided together on this project. I know that 2nd graders are always happy to receive prizes/rewards so I was pleased to get input for them. Some things they would love to have in the classroom store included: stress balls, mochis, slime, stickers for their water bottles, fun pencils,pop-its, plush toys, and more.

By helping to fund this project, you will be helping to provide rewards to some amazing multilingual learners who deserve it!

It is the little things we do, as educators, that will help our students be successful and become future leaders in their communities.
