My class is group of students who are driven to become leaders in their community. They come to school with a fire in their bellies to learn. My diverse class means that I have many different learning styles in my room. My school is located in an area where not all of my student leaders have the means to enhance their learning at home. They are very driven to want to do well and learn new things.
One of the my goals is to give my students a safe environment to learn in.
I want my students to be able to come to school worry-free and confident that their learning space is a safe space.
I want to be able to give the scholars the experience that they deserve to have. I want to create an environment that is nurturing, engaging, and most importantly, safe!
My Project
I am always try to find different ways to motivate my students, especially during this crazy school year. My students work hard to earn tickets that they "cash" in to get some awesome prizes. As the year has gone on, I need to make my prizes more desirable. Right now, the hottest trend among my 4th grade students are fidget toys. These toys are super motivating and just fun to use. My students also like to trade their fidget toys with each other. The problem I am having is funding my growing fidget treasure chest. Help me keep my students motivated all the way to June!
