Our students are smart, driven and lively. They spend copious amounts of time engaging in academic work and feedback during the week. Every Friday, we spend time building community and having time to connect with each other.
These materials will help us reward students for their tenacity, academic work and social skills.
We often times run into an inability to reward our students due to lack of funds to go towards "fun" events. The popcorn machine, snow cone machine (the ice crusher), and cotton candy machine will be used on Fridays to celebrate students. This will directly support our culture and academic initiatives at school. Our classroom funds are often spent on manipulatives, and books.
