Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a great group of hard-working students who come to school ready to learn every day! I work with kids who have the reading disability of dyslexia and have to compensate for it by working even harder at school. I want to create an environment that encourages academic growth as well as good behavior. The project I have created for my classroom is full of different items that will help promote excitement in learning and promote positive behavior from my students.

My students miss out on their fun intervention period to come to dyslexia class every day, so I want to be able to reward them for their hard work and keep them wanting to come back.

These prizes include fidget spinners, stress balls, mini skateboards, and mini activity books to encourage students to visit the treasure box for making good choices and being diligent in all their work.

If this project gets funded, it will help motivate our hard-working students to continue to come to dyslexia class and become successful readers.
