Reward 3rd graders for their hard work in Music class
Help me give my students these recorders as a reward for their hard work on the recorder unit in 3rd grade music.
They can play “eye of the tiger”, “we will rock you” “hot cross buns” and more.

My Project
Hello, thank you for reading this. I’m a music teacher in Phoenix, Arizona at an elementary school.
I have been teaching Elementary Music for 19 years and I have never seen a group of third graders so dedicated to learning the recorder as I have this year.
Many students have requested taking them home at the end of the year , but if I let them do that, I will not have any left for next year therefore;
I am requesting funding for recorders to replace the ones that I will be giving away at the end of this school year . The ones they have been playing the last 9 weeks.
My goal is to begin these 3rd graders on a lifelong passion for music.
