My students are an amazing group of kids and I want to give them a memorable year!
I have a such diverse group of students who are eager to learn and share with each other. I want to provide them all that I can to aid in their love for learning. At this age, we give the students a foundation for academic learning, but a lot of learning is through social and physical play also!
My Project
We need to start with the essentials...the ink, pencil sharpener, pens & organizer, paper cutter, staplers, and computer stand help me prepare to teach my students each day in math, science, reading, writing and Chinese.
The book bins are to help us organize our classroom library. We have a wonderful library filled with fiction and non-fiction books...Chinese books as well as English books! Students learning everything from math, science, reading & writing to Chinese!
The cleaning supplies are to help keep the students healthy so that they can come to school everyday!
During this first year of school, the academic learning is important because it provides the students with a firm foundation for their educational journey. But we can't forget about the social aspect of their education also! The playground equipment will help students develop their large motor skills. While playing interacting during recess time, students also develop their social and conflict resolution skills.
Helping to provide the essential supplies inside and outside of the classroom will help our students grow academically & socially.
We want to help foster well-rounded students and give them a firm foundation as they begin their educational journey.
