Help me give my students an Apple TV with an HDMI cord and an indoor plant light.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Swyers's classroom raised $280
This project is fully funded
My Students
These students are in 6th and 7th grade and go to a Title I school. The entire school receives free lunch, and most of the families come from inner-city backgrounds.
Being a Title I school, funding for materials can be very limited, so I want to be able to provide my students with the best resources to help them reach their full potential.
These students work hard and are extremely motivated. I want them to feel successful in how they are performing.
My Project
I work at a Title I school, where most of my students come from communities that have high poverty rates. Resources can be limited and I want to provide my students with a classroom experience they will never forget. My students recently received a grant with Verizon and Apple which gave each of my students an iPad to use in and out of the classroom. I want to take this opportunity further by asking for an Apple TV and HDMI cable.
This Apple TV will revolutionize the way we dissect, analyze an learn math.
The Apple TV will connect to not only my iPad, but to my students iPads to promote collaboration and real-time teaching. Together we can analyze student work, look for error analysis and teach each other through the system. The HDMI cord is to connect the front board to the Apple TV to display their work on the board for all the students to see.
As well as requesting for an apple TV, our school has become more "green" and I want to start growing plants in the classroom. This is a great way to connect what they learn in Science and integrate it into my classroom.
