My Project
Saucer chairs, lap desks and a rug will have a significant impact on my students' learning allowing for comfort and ergonomics, flexibility and active learning.
Traditional seating may not always cater to individual comfort needs.
Chairs designed with ergonomics in mind can provide better support and help students maintain proper posture, reducing discomfort and distractions that may arise from physical discomfort.
Alternate seating options such as ergonomic chairs and adjustable height desks allow students to customize their seating arrangement according to their preferences and comfort levels. This flexibility can enhance focus and engagement during lessons.
Lap desks provide students with a portable workspace, allowing them to move around the classroom and engage in different learning activities comfortably. This promotes active learning and encourages participation.
Adjustable seating options cater to my students with diverse physical needs, ensuring that all students can participate fully in classroom activities regardless of their physical abilities. Many students struggle with attention and focus issues and by having various seating options, they are able to have subtle movement breaks and remain engaged and focused in the classroom.
My classroom is a diverse one with students of all needs and abilities. Many of my students are remarkable individuals with a diverse set of strengths and talents that enrich our classroom community. They approach learning with enthusiasm and determination, demonstrating resilience in overcoming obstacles and a genuine eagerness to grow.
