My Students

My students are the reason I come to school every day. I look forward to how each day will be different based on the questions they ask, the stories they tell, and the lessons they learn.

Our high school, and the students that walk the halls, are some of the most diverse in the state of Texas.

It is a joy to watch so many cultures come together as one and make up the "Trojan Nation". My students embrace their own culture as well as accept each others and that is a beautiful thing to get to witness.

My Project

I like to play a review game with my geometry students at the end of each unit and the last time we played my spinner broke so this will be nice to have a brand new set of three. One of the prizes on the "wheel" is grab bag so I can use the food items for the students to choose from. They also asked me to get mechanical pencils since pencil is a prize on the wheel and they are bored with the good, old-fashioned #2 pencils I typically give out. I'm happy to provide these items for my students if it motivates them to do their unit reviews and prepare them for their tests.
