This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My Kindergarteners will learn how their reusable resources not only help us understand new skills in math and science but also enable us to keep our waste low and help our environment.

They will engage in math and reduce waste as the smallest green ambassadors of the building.

The sooner this project gets funded, the sooner we can jump into action. My goal is to learn through a read-aloud how our earth is harmed through our everyday actions. Then, I will help them seek new ways to help. I will then show them how we are already doing our part and reusing many materials in our learning. This will help them see that our knowledge of a problem can help even the smallest student do their part in making the big issues smaller.
