Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My freshman and juniors want to create an area in my classroom for a recycling bin to encourage students and staff to reduce and reuse cans/bottles. They have requested markers and construction paper to decorate our bin with Tiger Pride images. They have also requested trash bags to line the blue bin and cleaning supplies to maintain it sanitary. This DonorsChoose project is an extension of a senior project put together this year by three graduating seniors of the class of 2024.
The goal here is to continue to foster recycling even after our seniors graduate this June.
I would like for this project to continue to grow.
