My Project
There are about 60 million plastic bottles thrown away each day in America. These plastic waste constitutes 90% of all the rubbish floating in our ocean. It is important for students to learn about Earth Day and ways to protect our environment. One important way to help the Earth is to use reusable water bottles. Students drink water every day at school and at home. By providing students with a reusable water bottle can teach them the important of reduce plastic waste, and also provide a healthy living.
Reusable water bottles not only help students learn about environmental impact of plastic bottles, but also provide hydration to stay healthy.
In addition, drinking water improves memory and attention, helps students maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk for some chronic disease and helps prevent dental cavities. Students learn the important of 3Rs, reduce, reuse and recycle. Students also have a better understanding of environmental issues and ways to protect our Earth! Students can continue the spirit of Earth Day every day!
