My Students

This is amazing! These were the words a student announced last year when he created his first PowerPoint presentation and presented it in front of the class. Our school serves low-income students in grades K-12 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in the state every year. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college, with most students graduating with college credits.

My Project

This year staying healthy is key while still enjoying being together. My students want to be together at school while still staying healthy and one of the most important ways of doing that is to provide them with individual supplies in order to be successful. In order for our day to run smoothly I am asking for headphones so that each of my students have equal access to technology. We are also in need of individual pairs of scissors so everyone can accomplish tasks given to them, and lastly I am asking for carpet spots so that students can safely distance themselves while still being together.
