Returning to In-Person Learning Safely!

Help me give my students the tools they need to return to in person learning safely this school year. Students will have their own personal whiteboard and dry erase markers, crayons, pencils, and sharpeners.

My Students

My second-grade students are always anxious to become better readers!

They love to read along with books and respond to what they have read in a variety of ways.

They enjoy talking about the books they read with their classmates, drawing pictures that go along with the stories, and retelling their favorite parts of a book.

Even though our school is located in a low-income area and often dangerous part of the city, my students are very positive and eager to learn. There is a wide range of reading abilities in my classroom, but every student works hard to become a better reader and a successful student. I hope that I can help them become their best by providing them with the tools that they need to achieve their goals.

My Project

Students have been working remotely since the beginning of the 2020 school year. As we prepare for the return to in-person learning this January, I would love to be able to supply each student with their own materials to reduce the amount of shared materials, in an effort to keep all students safe and healthy!

Providing every student with their own whiteboard, markers, crayons, pencils, and sharpeners will greatly reduce the spread of germs.

It will be a very different experience when we return, and I want to keep students as safe as possible, while still providing every student with enriching and hands-on learning.
