This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Oh where Oh where did the tag go, Oh where Oh where could it be?Save that Tag! Our transportation badges and yarn are due for a upgrade. Help us create a new and effective way to return our precious children home.
Our children are full of energy and come to school with a passion of learning.
Yes, they are training early to become well prepared for college, their careers, and life as a whole. Our students are striving to become first generation college graduates in some homes, and setting the foundation to continue college success in others. Regardless, of the situations they are coming from the seed of success has been planted in their hearts and minds.
My Project
The transportation tag resources that we are requesting will remodel the security measures that are already in place. However, as of now the tags that are being used are made with paper and are tied on yarn. This method is less than optimal because the tags, that have all student information, continue to tear and become misplaced. This is why this upgrade is so important! An additional benefit would be the added instructional time that teachers would regain by not having to create new tags on a daily basis.
This is a major safety improvement for our school.
Making these tags more reliable will ensure that our students make it home safely everyday. So, with your help we will be able to implement this changes that our school normally not have the resources to do.
