Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Trying to ensure space and comfort with up to 35 middle schoolers in one room can be difficult. Flexible seating in middle-grade classrooms offers students a comfortable and dynamic learning environment. These desks will also be a bonus for my taller students who have a hard time sitting at a traditional school desk. Giving them the legroom many don't have access to in our current setting. Learning can be uncomfortable when you have a hard time adjusting to the height of traditional school desks. Giving the students in my classroom the comfort they need to learn is always a plus, and at the same time, maximizing their learning capabilities.
