This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the opportunity to teach and enhance the learning of the entire school. My classroom is not the normal classroom because my classroom is the library. Our school is a Title One school where our students face struggles daily and we try our best to provide them with the best and most that we can.

Our school provides a learning opportunity for about three hundred and fifty students, ranging from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

We are a Title One school without proper funds to provide needed resources for our students. Our students are eager to learn and face many struggles in their home lives. We, as teachers, try our best to provide them with a nurturing, caring, and family-like learning environment. I am looking forward to getting this project funded to help us provide amazing opportunities for our students.

My Project

These 3D printing pens will allow the students to be creative with their retelling activities in the classroom. When students retell stories, they sometimes like to draw a picture to retell. The 3D pens will allow them the opportunity to express their retell and their view of the story in a different way. These items will be used in the library for students as a different way for them to retell the stories they are reading. Sometimes, the students need a different form to express and comprehend the stories. 3D pens are an amazing, new medium that will allow students to create anything they want in a 3D form.

These pens offer an amazing opportunity for all students to retell what they are reading.

Having these pens will allow us to differentiate lessons with the new medium. These pens are a great opportunity to introduce new technology and a new way to create.
