My Project
For over a decade, the EHHS yearbook was a lost tradition. This year, my bright, determined students decided to change that. They revived the yearbook with an energy and dedication that filled me with pride. After countless hours of struggling with phone photos, we finally acquired a used camera. It wasn't new, but it was theirs, a symbol of their hard work and commitment.
Tragically, that camera was stolen.
Despite our best efforts, it hasn't been recovered. This loss is more than just a setback; it jeopardizes the entire yearbook project. These students, who poured their hearts into bringing this tradition back, now face the possibility of an incomplete record of their year, forcing us to eliminate key sections and jeopardizing next year's edition.
The yearbook is more than just a collection of pictures; it's a vital learning tool. Each photograph they take, each layout they design, teaches them valuable skills in photography, design, communication, and teamwork. They are learning to tell stories, to capture moments, and to create a lasting record of their school community. Without a camera, they lose these essential learning opportunities, leaving a significant gap in their educational experience. We're asking for your help to replace the stolen camera and ensure these students can continue the tradition they restored. Your support will directly empower them to learn, create, and preserve their memories for years to come.
