it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 9th-grade classroom serves as a vibrant learning hub where approximately 85 students come together daily to explore, create, and grow. However, our basic supplies are running critically low, and I'm reaching out for your support to ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed. Many of my students come from economically challenged backgrounds, and they often arrive without basic supplies. Having these materials readily available removes barriers to learning and allows students to fully engage in their education. The items we desperately need include essential hygiene products (tissues, hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes, baby wipes), basic school supplies (pencils, glue sticks, highlighters, colored paper), and motivational items (smelly stickers and healthy snacks as achievement rewards).
These supplies will directly impact student learning by creating a clean, well-equipped, and motivating environment.
The hygiene products will help maintain a healthy classroom, especially during cold and flu season, while the school supplies ensure that every student can participate fully in daily activities without feeling left behind. The reward items serve as positive reinforcement for academic achievement and good behavior, which has proven extremely effective with my students. Your donation will not only provide tangible resources but also show these teenagers that their education matters to our community. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help create an environment where students feel supported and ready to learn.
