Approximately 81% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunches. Many come from low-income areas, live in poverty, or combat homelessness, and we have a high number of military families. There is an amazing group of hard-working young adults in my class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve high school diplomas and go to college.
My students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down.

My Project
As COVID-19 has reshaped the world of education, one thing remains the same, my students are back and ready to learn. They are working so hard to make sure that they are ready for graduation and their futures. They amaze me each day. As the school year has progressed along, we are currently running low on some classroom basics that my students use on a daily basis. I am requesting pencils and sticky notes that my students use for assignments and organizing their notebooks. The pencil holders will be used to store their pencils and pens in their learning groups. The batteries are to replace the ones in our classroom calculators that are beginning to go dead. With your support my students will have access to all the supplies they need for success.
