My Project

I work with a wonderful group of multilingual learners by collaborating with classroom teachers and supporting students in their classrooms. I also pull out small groups to teach specific skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

My students earn stickers during our lessons that they can then trade in for prizes at the classroom store.

They can earn stickers by following directions, participating, and completing assignments. Twice a month they are able to turn in their stickers for a prize. They may choose from socks, snacks, small toys, etc.

When it is time to shop our prize store, we discuss making wise decisions with their stickers (money). They have to decide if they want to hold on to their stickers to "purchase" something worth more later, or go ahead and pick out what they have enough for.

Your donation will help to keep our prize store stocked so my students have a variety of items to choose from.
