Help me give my students the materials they need to complete their work.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Allen's classroom raised $370

My Students
As a kindergarten teacher most of my students have never been in school prior to joining my class. Each child in my class has their own unique skill sets with varying strengths and areas of need.
I teach in an area where many families are considered low-income.
Resilient is a word that accurately describes each and every one of my students. No matter what challenges my scholars face at home they know that when they are at school they can receive the care and resources needed to help them grow.
My Project
My kids have busy minds and bodies. They love to learn and need to be provided with different learning opportunities in order to stay engaged and meet their unique learning needs. Hands on activities utilizing play-doh, dry erase activities, and laminated games helps my students practice skills in a variety of ways.
After five months of rigorous learning some of our materials need to be replenished.
With limited funding I have had to become creative in what materials we use and how we use them. Dry erase pockets provide affordable dry erase boards that can be switched out to be either blank or lined as needed. We can also save paper by using pocket sleeves and reusing worksheets for centers. Socks make a great eraser for dry-erase markers and are easily washed to prevent the spread of germs.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
