My students need incentives like candy, erasers, pencils, sticky hand toys, and play lights to keep up the amazing positive behavior in the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In our classroom we believe in learning the most we can in various situations to become active and responsible students and eventually successful adult citizens in society. We strive everyday to do our very best and break all stereotypes that are associated with us.
Our school is located in the heart of Miami.
This year I will be teaching a wonderful group of third graders. I truly believe that they can and will succeed despite of what society, prejudice, or others might think about them. I hope to affirm their strengths and give them the space to discover that they are capable of achieving their goals and meeting high expectations. My hope is to build a positive classroom culture where students strive for excellence everyday, that take pride in their work, and that always have a "Champion" mentality. I know for a fact, that my students will become critical thinkers, strong leaders, and positive members of their local and global communities.
My Project
The resources requested are all materials for our classroom store. Students will be able to buy out these materials through positive behavior and good grades. Every time students get caught having positive behavior and put in extra effort in their work, I will give students tickets. As the week goes on, students will be able to cash out their tickets for some of their favorite goodies in our store. The store will be student led. Students will have a rotation where they become cashiers, organizers, and custodians. This whole system will be student led and will be taken care of by the whole class. Students will learn responsibility, will learn better math skills when becoming cashiers, and will learn some economics by really seeing supply and demand in real life.
The donations to this project will overall improve classroom behavior and academics.
Everyday students will have the incentive to work hard and be the best they can be. This project will build a strong classroom culture, centered around positivity and community.
