This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are halfway through the year, and it has been a whirlwind! I'm excited to see the growth and progress my students are making. Teaching in a Title I school where almost all of my students come from low income families can be challenging. They don't always have the basic classroom supplies needed, and either have to borrow from a friend or wait until supplies are available.
I would love to have these extra supplies available for them to use at any given time.
Folders, pens, crayons, paper, and pencils are some basic supplies that are needed in a Reading/Language Arts classroom. The St. Patrick's Day supplies will be to reward their hard work in goodie bags. The fruit snacks are for when they need a little something to snack on.
These supplies will be essential in helping my students be successful in finishing out the year.
